Free houses will not be built, new rules of PM Awas Yojana released

Under this rule, special surveys are also being conducted by the government to obtain information about such persons. During the survey, beneficiaries of PM Awas Yojana will have to submit complete details of their house to their nearest government office.

Other reasons for the new rules issued in the housing scheme

Some other reasons for the recently issued new rules in PM Awas Yojana are as follows.-

  • Fee for permanent house should be recovered from ineligible beneficiaries of PM Awas Yojana.
  • To alert people who are ineligible for the scheme, they should be punished on the basis of fine.
  • On the basis of these rules, no person should be able to do such work from now on.
  • Under PM Awas Yojana, benefits can be given only to needy families.

How much will be the penalty for wrong type of accommodation?

According to the issued rules, those people who are wrongly found to be beneficiaries of housing on the basis of survey, may have to pay a fine up to more than the benefit amount received on the basis of age. That is, they may have to pay double the amount of financial amount received for the house under the housing scheme as penalty.

Other proceedings including fine

Not only can fines be imposed on fraudulent persons under the PM Awas Yojana, but if those persons do not deposit the full amount on time, they will also have to face other government legal proceedings under which they may have to face imprisonment up to 2 years. May fall.
